This publication examines friendship within the act of drawing as an ongoing research about what it means to weave two visual languages and artistic practices into one. From the perspective of two personal narratives, we attempt to use drawing as a tool for entanglement and conversation.
With this in mind, we develop a drawing practice in which we attempt to blur the line of two individual aesthetics into a singular voice. Through conversations about image making, we discuss composition, color, texture, atmosphere, line, shadow, messy vs. clean, in order to define our collective language, and create a singular body of work.
